Programs and Events: Event Series

Networking Events
handshakeRelationship marketing is one of the key ways to generate and sustain business. The CCC offers both structured and casual networking events to encourage members to meet, build relationships, and do business with one another.

The popular Networking Breakfast Series is a structured program at which participants are guaranteed to meet at least two tables full of potential new business clients. Tables are randomly assigned and guests rotate tables halfway through the program.

Evening networking events, known as "BAHs" or Business After Hours provide a more casual atmosphere for members to get to know one another. These events are held at local venues from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and often include special themes.

Professional Development Series
The CCC professional development programming utilizes the rich and diverse educational resources available in Cambridge including our local institutions of higher learning and member businesses.

The Real Estate Professionals Roundtable Series provides businesses with knowledge and resources about the Cambridge-area real estate market. Topics have included Cambridge zoning and provisions for landlords and tenants dealing with lease negotiations.

The Human Resources Roundtable series enables human resource managers and professionals to connect with one another and gain access to information critical to the HR arena. Programming has focused on avoiding employee lawsuits and addressing immigration issues.

The CCC has developed the Nonprofit Resource series to assist the many nonprofit agencies and organizations in our community. This programming is available only to nonprofit board members, executives and staff. Program topics include effective board management, fiduciary responsibility, marketing and philanthropic awareness.
